WESTERN JAMAICA TO BENEFIT FROM PERB ETHICS SEMINAR ON NOVEMBER 16 2017

PERB ETHICS SEMINAR

On November 16, 2017 Montego Bay will host PERB's Ethics Evening Seminar to cater to the Engineering community in the western part of the island. The seminar will be held at the Sea Gardens Resort commencing at 5:30pm. The discussions will share and engage the engineering community on relevant topics to the industry and engineering business, as well as to introduce the newcomers to the profession, the relationship that they must have with PERB. Presentations will be delivered by the Chairman Eng. Dr. Noel Brown, Board Member Attorney Nicole Burgher and Former Chairman of the Board Eng Noel Whyte. The event is one in a series of presentations being held by the PERB to inform the community and general public of the legal duties of the Professionals in the industry as well as those who employ them. Attendance and participation in similar seminars will soon become mandatory as the Board is working with the Government to make continuing education a requirement for practice of the profession.
